The poor you will always have with you; but you will not always have me.

Jesus said, “Let her alone. Why do you make trouble for her? She has done a good thing for me.

My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. You will look for me, and as I told the Jews, ‘Where I go you cannot come,’ so now I say it to you.

I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

But now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’

And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.

whom heaven must receive until the times of universal restoration of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.

The land will never lack for needy persons; that is why I command you: “Open your hand freely to your poor and to your needy kin in your land.” Hebrew Slaves.

For I have experienced much joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the holy ones have been refreshed by you, brother.
