What I say to you, I say to all: ‘Watch!’”
Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come.
Watch, therefore; you do not know when the lord of the house is coming, whether in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or in the morning.
Therefore, stay awake! For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
And do this because you know the time; it is the hour now for you to awake from sleep. For our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed;
