Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, while the adversary stood at his right side to accuse him.

Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you,

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors;

“When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, ‘O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity—greedy, dishonest, adulterous—or even like this tax collector.

But the tax collector stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast and prayed, ‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.’

“Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.

[And] be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.

bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do.

For the judgment is merciless to one who has not shown mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment. Faith and Works.

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
