When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his teaching,

They were seeking to arrest him, but they feared the crowd, for they realized that he had addressed the parable to them. So they left him and went away. Paying Taxes to the Emperor.

Ahab said to Elijah, “Have you found me out, my enemy?” He said, “I have found you. Because you have given yourself up to doing evil in the Lord’s sight,

and all who heard him were astounded at his understanding and his answers.

After this, Jesus moved about within Galilee; but he did not wish to travel in Judea, because the Jews were trying to kill him.

Did not Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?”
