Joshua 4:14

That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel, and so during his whole life they feared him as they had feared Moses.

When all Israel heard the judgment the king had given, they were in awe of him, because they saw that the king had in him the wisdom of God for giving right judgment.

Samuel called upon the Lord, and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day. Assistance Promised. Then all the people feared the Lord and Samuel.
