Do not let this book of the law depart from your lips. Recite it by day and by night, that you may carefully observe all that is written in it; then you will attain your goal; then you will succeed.

A good person brings forth good out of a store of goodness, but an evil person brings forth evil out of a store of evil.

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.

If you understand this, blessed are you if you do it.

No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear.

Observe carefully the words of this covenant, therefore, in order that you may succeed in whatever you do. All Israel Bound by Covenant.

You are standing today, all of you, in the presence of the Lord, your God—your tribal heads, elders, and officials, all of the men of Israel,

No, it is something very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it. The Choice Before Israel.

when all Israel goes to appear before the Lord, your God, in the place which he will choose, you shall read this law aloud in the presence of all Israel.

When Moses had finished writing out on a scroll the words of this law in their entirety,

Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and ordinances which I proclaim in your hearing this day, that you may learn them and take care to observe them.

Would that they might always be of such a mind, to fear me and to keep all my commandments! Then they and their descendants would prosper forever.

Be careful, therefore, to do as the Lord, your God, has commanded you, not turning aside to the right or to the left,

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Only be strong and steadfast, being careful to observe the entire law which Moses my servant enjoined on you. Do not swerve from it either to the right or to the left, that you may succeed wherever you go.

Then were read aloud all the words of the law, the blessings and the curses, exactly as written in the book of the law.

Blessed are they who wash their robes so as to have the right to the tree of life and enter the city through its gates.
