So they picked up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area.

His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Then the eyes of the blind shall see, and the ears of the deaf be opened;

And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed [him], crying out, “Son of David, have pity on us!”

Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “[Lord,] Son of David, have pity on us!”

Then he questioned his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” He replied, “Since childhood.

And a woman afflicted with hemorrhages for twelve years, who [had spent her whole livelihood on doctors and] was unable to be cured by anyone,

One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years.

For the man on whom this sign of healing had been done was over forty years old. Prayer of the Community.

There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been confined to bed for eight years, for he was paralyzed.

At Lystra there was a crippled man, lame from birth, who had never walked.

When the natives saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man must certainly be a murderer; though he escaped the sea, Justice has not let him remain alive.”
