But I have testimony greater than John’s. The works that the Father gave me to accomplish, these works that I perform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.

For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do what is pleasing to him.”

In every way I have shown you that by hard work of that sort we must help the weak, and keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus who himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him he endured the cross, despising its shame, and has taken his seat at the right of the throne of God.
