He is swift on the surface of the water: their portion in the land is accursed, they do not turn aside by way of the vineyards.

For what hope has the impious when he is cut off, when God requires his life?

Even though I had not allowed my mouth to sin by invoking a curse against his life—

For those blessed by the Lord will inherit the earth, but those accursed will be cut off.

Pour out your wrath upon them; let the fury of your anger overtake them.

A senseless person cannot know this; a fool cannot comprehend.

For it is written in the Book of Psalms: ‘Let his encampment become desolate, and may no one dwell in it.’ And: ‘May another take his office.’
