I decided their course and sat at their head, I lived like a king among the troops, like one who comforts mourners.

Look, you have instructed many, and made firm their feeble hands.

But now that it comes to you, you are impatient; when it touches you, you are dismayed.

The Lord supports all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.

The babble of some people is like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise is healing.

But God, who encourages the downcast, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus,

We urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, cheer the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient with all.

So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees.
