Though I wear out like a leather bottle, like a garment the moth has consumed.

Take your plague away from me; I am ravaged by the touch of your hand.

See, the Lord God is my help; who will declare me guilty? See, they will all wear out like a garment, consumed by moths.

They shall be like a garment eaten by moths, like wool consumed by grubs; But my victory shall remain forever, my salvation, for all generations.

A partridge that broods but does not hatch are those who acquire wealth unjustly: In midlife it will desert them; in the end they are only fools.

For if a man with gold rings on his fingers and in fine clothes comes into your assembly, and a poor person in shabby clothes also comes in,

to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you
