All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come, buy grain and eat; Come, buy grain without money, wine and milk without cost!

A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

“To you, O people, I call; my appeal is to you mortals.

Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven columns;

Come, eat of my food, and drink of the wine I have mixed!

W Let him kiss me with kisses of his mouth, for your love is better than wine,

Draw me after you! Let us run! The king has brought me to his bed chambers. Let us exult and rejoice in you; let us celebrate your love: it is beyond wine! Rightly do they love you!

M I have come to my garden, my sister, my bride; I gather my myrrh with my spices, I eat my honeycomb with my honey, I drink my wine with my milk. D? Eat, friends; drink! Drink deeply, lovers!

If you are willing, and obey, you shall eat the good things of the land;

I will pour out water upon the thirsty ground, streams upon the dry land; I will pour out my spirit upon your offspring, my blessing upon your descendants.

For thus says the Lord: For nothing you were sold, without money you shall be redeemed.

We pay money to drink our own water, our own wood comes at a price.

Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and there! I saw water flowing out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east. The water flowed out toward the right side of the temple to the south of the altar.

Wherever it flows, the river teems with every kind of living creature; fish will abound. Where these waters flow they refresh; everything lives where the river goes.

Assyria will not save us, nor will we mount horses; We will never again say, ‘Our god,’ to the work of our hands; for in you the orphan finds compassion.”

Then Ephraim will be like a hero, and their hearts will be cheered as by wine. Their children will see and rejoice— their hearts will exult in the Lord.

I asked, “Where are you going?” And he said, “To measure Jerusalem—to see how great its width is and how great its length.”

The Lord of hosts will protect them; they will devour and conquer with sling stones, they will drink and become heated as with wine; they will be full like bowls—like the corners of the altar.

Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

I tell you, from now on I shall not drink this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.”

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

But Peter said to him, “May your money perish with you, because you thought that you could buy the gift of God with money.

They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus,

I fed you milk, not solid food, because you were unable to take it. Indeed, you are still not able, even now,

like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that through it you may grow into salvation,

He said to me, “They are accomplished. I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give a gift from the spring of life-giving water.

Then the angel showed me the river of life-giving water, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let the hearer say, “Come.” Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants it receive the gift of life-giving water.

I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white garments to put on so that your shameful nakedness may not be exposed, and buy ointment to smear on your eyes so that you may see.

Boaz went to the gate and took a seat there. Along came the other redeemer of whom he had spoken. Boaz called to him by name, “Come, sit here.” And he did so.
