Deceptive indeed are the hills, the mountains, clamorous; Only in the Lord our God is Israel’s salvation.

The deeps covered it like a garment; above the mountains stood the waters.

Higher and higher on the earth the waters swelled, until all the highest mountains under the heavens were submerged.

that, in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

This is how you shall build it: the length of the ark will be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
