The sons of Judah were: Er, Onan, and Shelah; these three Bathshua, a Canaanite woman, bore to him. But Judah’s firstborn, Er, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, so he took his life.

After the plague The sons of Judah were Er and Onan. Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

Isaac therefore summoned Jacob and blessed him, charging him: “You shall not marry a Canaanite woman!
