You shall keep away from anything dishonest. The innocent and the just you shall not put to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.

Then Abraham drew near and said: “Will you really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; if you put iniquity far from your tent,

Lead me from the way of deceit; favor me with your law.

Those who conspire against the just and condemn the innocent to death?

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You shall not repeat a false report. Do not join your hand with the wicked to be a witness supporting violence.

continuing his love for a thousand generations, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin; yet not declaring the guilty guiltless, but bringing punishment for their parents’ wickedness on children and children’s children to the third and fourth generation!

Be assured, the wicked shall not go unpunished, but the offspring of the just shall escape.

Whoever acquits the wicked, whoever condemns the just— both are an abomination to the Lord.

Whoever walks righteously and speaks honestly, who spurns what is gained by oppression, Who waves off contact with a bribe, who stops his ears so as not to hear of bloodshed, who closes his eyes so as not to look on evil—

Ah! Those who call evil good, and good evil, who change darkness to light, and light into darkness, who change bitter to sweet, and sweet into bitter!

You shall not steal. You shall not deceive or speak falsely to one another.

You shall not go about spreading slander among your people; nor shall you stand by idly when your neighbor’s life is at stake. I am the Lord.

The Lord is slow to anger, yet great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. In stormwind and tempest he comes, and clouds are the dust at his feet;

Soldiers also asked him, “And what is it that we should do?” He told them, “Do not practice extortion, do not falsely accuse anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.”

The wrath of God is indeed being revealed from heaven against every impiety and wickedness of those who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, for we are members one of another.

When there is a dispute and the parties draw near for judgment, and a decision is given, declaring one party in the right and the other in the wrong,

“Cursed be anyone who accepts payment to kill an innocent person!” And all the people shall answer, “Amen!”
