Now, our God, hear the prayer and petition of your servant; and for your own sake, Lord, let your face shine upon your desolate sanctuary.

Regard kindly the prayer and petition of your servant, Lord, my God, and listen to the cry of supplication which I, your servant, utter before you this day.

May your ears be attentive, and your eyes open, to hear the prayer that I, your servant, now offer in your presence day and night for your servants the Israelites, confessing the sins we have committed against you, I and my ancestral house included.

Let your face shine upon your servant; teach me your statutes.

Offer fitting sacrifices and trust in the Lord.

Lord, hear! Lord, pardon! Lord, be attentive and act without delay, for your own sake, my God, because your name is invoked upon your city and your people!”

Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

For however many are the promises of God, their Yes is in him; therefore, the Amen from us also goes through him to God for glory.

The city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb.
