I was considering the ten horns it had, when suddenly another, a little horn, sprang out of their midst, and three of the previous horns were torn away to make room for it. This horn had eyes like human eyes, and a mouth that spoke arrogantly.

For, talking empty bombast, they seduce with licentious desires of the flesh those who have barely escaped from people who live in error.

These people are complainers, disgruntled ones who live by their desires; their mouths utter bombast as they fawn over people to gain advantage. Exhortations.

Then I saw a beast come out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous name[s].

The appearance of the locusts was like that of horses ready for battle. On their heads they wore what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces,

Speak boastfully no longer, Do not let arrogance issue from your mouths. For an all-knowing God is the Lord, a God who weighs actions.
