He uncovers deep things from the darkness, brings the gloom into the light.

Now this is the message that we have heard from him and proclaim to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.

During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision, and he blessed the God of heaven:

To Daniel the king said, “Truly your God is the God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries; that is why you were able to reveal this mystery.”

The hidden things belong to the Lord our God, but the revealed things are for us and for our children forever, to observe all the words of this law.

Who is like the wise person, and who knows the explanation of things? Wisdom illumines the face and transforms a grim countenance.

Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you great things beyond the reach of your knowledge.
