The Lord was with Joseph and he enjoyed great success and was assigned to the household of his Egyptian master.

He had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, sold as a slave.

When you pass through waters, I will be with you; through rivers, you shall not be swept away. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, nor will flames consume you.

Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

“Come closer to me,” Joseph told his brothers. When they had done so, he said: “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt.

For he knew that it was out of envy that they had handed him over.

From the moment that he put him in charge of his household and all his possessions, the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; the Lord’s blessing was on everything he owned, both inside the house and out.

Now be strong, Zerubbabel—oracle of the Lord— be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, high priest, Be strong, all you people of the land—oracle of the Lord— and work! For I am with you—oracle of the Lord of hosts.

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated,
