Why is it thought unbelievable among you that God raises the dead?

but God has thus brought to fulfillment what he had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that his Messiah would suffer.

Moreover, all the prophets who spoke, from Samuel and those afterwards, also announced these days.

For I handed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures;

He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he himself might be preeminent.
