Thereupon Zedekiah, son of Chenaanah, came up and struck Micaiah on the cheek, saying, “Has the spirit of the Lord, then, passed from me to speak with you?”

They gape at me with their mouths; They strike me on the cheek with insults; they are all enlisted against me.

So he struck the prophet and put him in the stocks at the upper Gate of Benjamin in the house of the Lord.

Five days later the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and an advocate, a certain Tertullus, and they presented formal charges against Paul to the governor.
