David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah. Therefore that place has been called Perez-uzzah even to this day.

Then the Lord became angry with Uzzah; God struck him on that spot, and he died there in God’s presence.

David became frightened of the Lord that day, and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”

Because you were not with us the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, for we did not seek him aright.”

But this greatly displeased Jonah, and he became angry.

But God said to Jonah, “Do you have a right to be angry over the gourd plant?” Jonah answered, “I have a right to be angry—angry enough to die.”
