But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day.
A thousand years in your eyes are merely a day gone by, Before a watch passes in the night,
I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not become wise [in] your own estimation: a hardening has come upon Israel in part, until the full number of the Gentiles comes in,
I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea,
Now in regard to spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.
This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you; through them by way of reminder I am trying to stir up your sincere disposition,
