Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer here, for God took him.

When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. Once, when the guild prophets were seated before him, he said to his servant, “Put the large pot on, and make some vegetable stew for the guild prophets.”

When the days for his being taken up were fulfilled, he resolutely determined to journey to Jerusalem,

When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.

By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and “he was found no more because God had taken him.” Before he was taken up, he was attested to have pleased God.

The people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and camped in Gilgal on the eastern limits of Jericho.

Then the Lord said to Joshua: Today I have removed the reproach of Egypt from you. Therefore the place is called Gilgal to the present day.

Then they heard a loud voice from heaven say to them, “Come up here.” So they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies looked on.
