They took up Asahel and buried him in his father’s tomb in Bethlehem. Joab and his men made an all-night march, and dawn found them in Hebron.

That was the time when Ahaziah, son of Ahab, had said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my servants accompany your servants in the ships.” But Jehoshaphat would not agree.

Joram rested with his ancestors; he was buried with his ancestors in the City of David, and his son Ahaziah succeeded him as king. Reign of Ahaziah of Judah.

Solomon rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David, his father, and Rehoboam his son succeeded him as king.
