Thus all Israel from Dan to Beer-sheba came to know that Samuel was a trustworthy prophet of the Lord.
This is what I counsel: Let all Israel be assembled, from Dan to Beer-sheba, as numerous as the sands by the sea, and you yourself go with them.
that is, take away the kingdom from the house of Saul and establish the throne of David over Israel as well as Judah, from Dan to Beer-sheba.”
But when it comes—and it is surely coming!—they shall know that there was a prophet among them.
I who raised up prophets among your children, and nazirites among your young men. Is this not so, Israelites?— oracle of the Lord.

Should you say to yourselves, “How can we recognize that a word is one the Lord has not spoken?”,
I am grateful to him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me trustworthy in appointing me to the ministry.
So all the Israelites came out as one, from Dan to Beer-sheba including the land of Gilead, and the assembly gathered to the Lord at Mizpah.
The Lord sent Jerubbaal, Barak, Jephthah, and Samuel; he delivered you from the power of your enemies on every side, so that you could live in security.
