Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head unveiled?

“Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?

Stop judging by appearances, but judge justly.”

I am speaking as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I am saying.

Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears his hair long it is a disgrace to him,

women should keep silent in the churches, for they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.
