For thisis the wordof promise:"AT THISTIMEI WILL COME,AND SARAHSHALL HAVEA SON."
"But My covenantI will establishwith Isaac,whomSarahwill bearto you at thisseasonnextyear."
He said,"I will surelyreturnto you at this timenextyear;and behold,Sarahyour wifewill have a son."And Sarahwas listeningat the tentdoor,whichwas behindhim.
"Is anythingtoodifficultfor the LORD?At the appointedtimeI will returnto you, at thistimenextyear,and Sarahwill have a son."
So Sarahconceivedand borea sonto Abrahamin his oldage,at the appointedtimeof whichGodhad spokento him.
"Soin the present case,I sayto you, stay awayfrom thesemenand let them alone,for ifthisplanoractionis of men,it will be overthrown;
By faithAbraham,when he was tested,offeredup Isaac,and he who had receivedthe promiseswas offeringup his only begotten[son];
