slanderers,haters of God,insolent,arrogant,boastful,inventorsof evil,disobedientto parents,
Do we thennullifythe Lawthroughfaith?May it neverbe! On the contrary,we establishthe Law.
For ifwhile we were enemieswe were reconciledto Godthroughthe deathof His Son,muchmore,having been reconciled,we shall be savedby His life.
For I joyfully concurwith the lawof Godin the innerman,
sothat the requirementof the Lawmight be fulfilledin us, who do not walkaccordingto the fleshbut accordingto the Spirit.
But a naturalmandoes not acceptthe things of the Spiritof God,for they are foolishnessto him; and he cannotunderstandthem, becausethey are spirituallyappraised.
to thosewho are withoutlaw,as withoutlaw,though not beingwithout the lawof Godbut under the lawof Christ,sothat I might winthosewho are without law.
And although you were formerlyalienatedand hostilein mind,[engaged] in evildeeds,
Let no onekeep defrauding you of your prizeby delightingin self-abasementand the worshipof the angels,taking his standon [visions] he has seen,inflatedwithout causeby his fleshlymind,
treacherous,reckless,conceited,lovers of pleasureratherthanlovers of God,
"FOR THISIS THE COVENANTTHAT I WILL MAKEWITH THE HOUSEOF ISRAELAFTERTHOSEDAYS,SAYSTHE LORD:I WILL PUTMY LAWSINTO THEIR MINDS,AND I WILL WRITETHEM ON THEIR HEARTS.AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD,AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
You adulteresses,do you not knowthat friendshipwith the worldis hostilitytoward God?Thereforewhoeverwishesto be a friendof the worldmakeshimself an enemyof God.
havingeyesfullof adulterythat never ceasefrom sin,enticingunstablesouls,havinga hearttrainedin greed,accursedchildren;
