But nowwe have been releasedfrom the Law,having diedto that by whichwe were bound,sothat we servein newnessof the Spiritand not in oldnessof the letter.
whoalsomade us adequate[as] servantsof a newcovenant,not of the letterbut of the Spirit;for the letterkills,but the Spiritgives life.
Therefore,my brethren,you alsowere made to dieto the Lawthroughthe bodyof Christ,sothat you might be joinedto another,to Him who was raisedfrom the dead,in orderthat we might bear fruitfor God.
Thereforewe have been buriedwith Him throughbaptisminto death,sothat as Christwas raisedfrom the deadthroughthe gloryof the Father,sowe toomight walkin newnessof life.
Christredeemedus from the curseof the Law,having becomea cursefor us-- for it is written,"CURSEDIS EVERYONEWHO HANGSON A TREE"--
and have puton the new selfwho is being renewedto a true knowledgeaccordingto the imageof the One who createdhim--
For neitheris circumcisionanything,noruncircumcision,but a newcreation.
And do not be conformedto thisworld,but be transformedby the renewingof your mind,sothat you may provewhatthe willof Godis, that which is goodand acceptableand perfect.
But nowhaving been freedfrom sinand enslavedto God,you deriveyour benefit,resultingin sanctification,and the outcome,eternallife.
Thereforeifanyoneis in Christ,[he is] a newcreature;the old thingspassed away;behold,new thingshave come.
Ordo you not know,brethren(for I am speakingto those who knowthe law),that the lawhas jurisdiction overa personas longas he lives?
May it neverbe! Howshall we whodiedto sinstilllivein it?
I am speakingin human termsbecauseof the weaknessof your flesh.For justas you presentedyour membersas slavesto impurityand to lawlessness,resultingin [further] lawlessness,sonowpresentyour membersas slavesto righteousness,resultingin sanctification.
Evensoconsideryourselvesto be deadto sin,but aliveto Godin ChristJesus.
For God,whomI servein my spiritin the [preaching of the] gospelof His Son,is my witness[as to] howunceasinglyI makementionof you,
"And I will givethem oneheart,and puta newspiritwithinthem. And I will takethe heartof stoneout of their fleshand givethem a heartof flesh,
for we are the [true] circumcision,who worshipin the Spiritof Godand gloryin ChristJesusand putnoconfidencein the flesh,
"Moreover, I will giveyou a newheartand puta newspiritwithinyou; and I will removethe heartof stonefrom your fleshand giveyou a heartof flesh.
For the marriedwomanis boundby lawto her husbandwhile he is living;but ifher husbanddies,she is releasedfrom the lawconcerning the husband.
and puton the newself,which in [the likeness of] Godhas been createdin righteousnessand holinessof the truth.
