The onewho eatsis not to regard with contemptthe onewho does not eat,and the onewho does not eatis not to judgethe onewho eats,for Godhas acceptedhim.
"For whohas despisedthe dayof smallthings?But thesesevenwill be gladwhen they seethe plumblinein the handof Zerubbabel--[these are] the eyesof the LORDwhichrangeto and frothroughoutthe earth."

Thenthe disciplesof Johncameto Him, asking,"Whydo we and the Phariseesfast,but Your disciplesdo not fast?"
And He alsotoldthisparableto some peoplewho trustedin themselvesthat they were righteous,and viewedotherswith contempt:
Openinghis mouth,Petersaid:"I mostcertainlyunderstand[now] that Godis not one to show partiality,
While Peterwas stillspeakingthesewords,the HolySpiritfellupon allthosewho were listeningto the message.
The nativesshowedus extraordinarykindness;for becauseof the rainthat had setin and becauseof the cold,they kindleda fireand receivedus all.
For iftheir rejectionis the reconciliationof the world,whatwill [their] acceptancebe but lifefrom the dead?
Nowacceptthe one who is weakin faith,[but] not for [the purpose of] passing judgmenton his opinions.
But you, whydo you judgeyour brother?Oryou again,whydo you regardyour brotherwith contempt?For we will allstand beforethe judgment seatof God.
Thereforelet us not judgeone anotheranymore,but ratherdeterminethis--not to putan obstacleora stumbling blockin a brother'sway.
For ifbecauseof foodyour brotheris hurt,you are no longerwalkingaccordingto love.Do not destroywith your foodhim for whomChristdied.
It is goodnot to eatmeatorto drinkwine,or[to do anything] by whichyour brotherstumbles.
Therefore,acceptone another,justas Christalsoacceptedus to the gloryof God.
