But he who doubtsis condemnedifhe eats,because[his eating is] not from faith;and whateveris not from faithis sin.
Thereforewhoeverresistsauthorityhas opposedthe ordinanceof God;and they who have opposedwill receivecondemnationupon themselves.
Oneperson regardsone dayaboveanother,anotherregardseveryday[alike]. Each personmust be fully convincedin his ownmind.
Howevernot all menhave thisknowledge;but some,being accustomedto the idoluntilnow,eat[food] as ifit were sacrificed to an idol;and their consciencebeingweakis defiled.
To the pure,all thingsare pure;but to thosewho are defiledand unbelieving,nothingis pure,but boththeir mindand their conscienceare defiled.
And withoutfaithit is impossibleto please[Him], for he who comesto Godmustbelievethat He is and [that] He is a rewarderof thosewho seekHim.
