Hereis the perseveranceof the saintswho keepthe commandmentsof Godand their faithin Jesus.
I have foughtthe goodfight,I have finishedthe course,I have keptthe faith;
By thiswe knowthat we have come to knowHim, ifwe keepHis commandments.
Sothe dragonwas enragedwith the woman,and went offto makewarwith the restof her children,who keepthe commandmentsof Godand holdto the testimonyof Jesus.
Ifanyone[is destined] for captivity,to captivityhe goes;ifanyonekillswith the sword,with the swordhe mustbe killed.Hereis the perseveranceand the faithof the saints.
