He spoketo them in the pillarof cloud;They keptHis testimoniesAnd the statutethat He gavethem.
He sentdarknessand made[it] dark;And they did not rebelagainstHis words.
The LORDsaidto Moses,"Behold,I will cometo you in a thickcloud,sothat the peoplemay hearwhen I speakwith you and may alsobelievein you forever."Then Mosestoldthe wordsof the peopleto the LORD.
Whenever Mosesenteredthe tent,the pillarof cloudwould descendand standat the entranceof the tent;and the LORD would speakwith Moses.
Thus Mosesdid;according to allthat the LORDhad commandedhim, sohe did.
He who turnsawayhis earfrom listeningto the law,Evenhis prayeris an abomination.
Then the LORDcamedownin a pillarof cloudand stoodat the doorwayof the tent,and He calledAaronand Miriam.When they had bothcomeforward,
Then Mosesbecameveryangryand saidto the LORD,"Do not regardtheir offering!I have not takena singledonkeyfrom them, norhave I doneharmto anyof them."
Who saidof his fatherand his mother,'I did not considerthem'; And he did not acknowledgehis brothers,Nordid he regardhis own sons,For they observedYour word,And keptYour covenant.
"See,I have taughtyou statutesand judgmentsjustas the LORDmy Godcommandedme, that you should dothusin the landwhereyou are enteringto possessit.
He was faithfulto Him who appointedHim, as Mosesalsowas in allHis house.
