They pourforth[words], they speakarrogantly;Allwho dowickednessvauntthemselves.
Thereis one who speaksrashlylike the thrustsof a sword,But the tongueof the wisebringshealing.
The tongueof the wisemakesknowledgeacceptable,But the mouthof foolsspoutsfolly.
The heartof the righteouspondershow to answer,But the mouthof the wickedpoursout evilthings.
"Have you not observedwhatthispeoplehave spoken,saying,The twofamilieswhichthe LORDchose,He has rejectedthem'? Thus they despiseMy people,nolongerare they as a nationin their sight.
The lipsof my assailantsand their whispering[Are] againstme alldaylong.
"You broodof vipers,howcanyou, beingevil,speakwhat is good?For the mouthspeaksout of that which fillsthe heart.
