And He has saidto me, "My graceis sufficientfor you, for poweris perfectedin weakness."Most gladly,therefore,I will ratherboastaboutmy weaknesses,sothat the powerof Christmay dwellin me.
Immediatelythe boy'sfathercriedout and said,"I do believe;helpmy unbelief."
Becausethey hatedknowledgeAnd did not choosethe fearof the LORD.
Upholdme that I may be safe,That I may haveregardfor Your statutescontinually.
I have inheritedYour testimoniesforever,For they are the joyof my heart.
I am Yours, saveme; For I have soughtYour precepts.
Behold,I longfor Your precepts;Reviveme through Your righteousness.Vav.
Make me walkin the pathof Your commandments,For I delightin it.
I have chosenthe faithfulway;I have placedYour ordinances[before me].
Whenhe falls,he will not be hurledheadlong,Becausethe LORDis the One who holdshis hand.
"Ifit is disagreeablein your sightto servethe LORD,choosefor yourselves todaywhomyou will serve:whetherthe godswhichyour fathersservedwhichwere beyondthe River,or the godsof the Amoritesin whoselandyou are living;but as for me and my house,we will servethe LORD."
Now Jabezcalledon the Godof Israel,saying,"Ohthat You would blessme indeedand enlargemy border,and that Your handmight be with me, and that You would keep[me] from harmthat [it] may not painme!" And Godgrantedhim whathe requested.
