Besidethem the birdsof the heavensdwell;They liftup [their] voicesamongthe branches.
"You who dwellin Lebanon,Nestedin the cedars,Howyou will groanwhen pangscomeupon you, Painlike a woman in childbirth!
"Eventhe storkin the skyKnowsher seasons;And the turtledoveand the swiftand the thrushObservethe timeof their migration;But My peopledo not knowThe ordinanceof the LORD.
Allthe birdsof the heavensnestedin its boughs,And underits branchesallthe beastsof the fieldgavebirth,And allgreatnationslivedunder its shade.
and whose foliage[was] beautifuland its fruitabundant,and in which [was] foodfor all,underwhich the beastsof the fielddweltand in whose branchesthe birdsof the skylodged--
and the stork,the heronin its kinds,and the hoopoe,and the bat.
"Thoughyou buildhighlike the eagle,Thoughyou setyour nestamongthe stars,From thereI will bringyou down,"declaresthe LORD.
and thisis smallerthan all[other] seeds,but whenit is full grown,it is largerthan the garden plantsand becomesa tree,sothat THE BIRDSOF THE AIRcomeand NESTIN ITS BRANCHES."
