For to me, to liveis Christand to dieis gain.
"I have been crucifiedwith Christ;and it is no longerI who live,but Christlivesin me; and the [life] whichI nowlivein the fleshI liveby faithin the Sonof God,who lovedme and gaveHimselfup for me.
we are of good courage,I say, and preferratherto be absentfrom the bodyand to be at homewith the Lord.
For we knowthat ifthe earthlytentwhich is our houseis torn down,we havea buildingfrom God,a housenot made with hands,eternalin the heavens.
But I am hard-pressedfrom both[directions], havingthe desireto departand be with Christ,for [that] is very muchbetter;
WhenChrist,who is our life,is revealed,thenyou alsowill be revealedwith Him in glory.
Therefore,being alwaysof good courage,and knowingthat while we are at homein the bodywe are absentfrom the Lord--
accordingto my earnest expectationand hope,that I will not be put to shamein anything,but [that] with allboldness,Christwill evennow,as always,be exaltedin my body,whetherby lifeorby death.
And I hearda voicefrom heaven,saying,"Write,Blessedare the deadwho diein the Lordfrom nowon!'" "Yes,"saysthe Spirit,"sothat they may restfrom their labors,for their deedsfollowwith them."
But may it neverbe that I would boast,exceptin the crossof our LordJesusChrist,throughwhichthe worldhas been crucifiedto me, and I to the world.
But by His doing you are in ChristJesus,whobecameto us wisdomfrom God,and righteousnessand sanctification,and redemption,
For they allseek aftertheir owninterests, not thoseof ChristJesus.
whetherPaulorApollosorCephasorthe worldorlifeordeathorthings presentorthings to come;all thingsbelong to you,
But if[I am] to live[on] in the flesh,this[will mean] fruitfullaborfor me; and I do not knowwhichto choose.
