Thosemensaidto him, "[Though] we are uncleanbecause of [the] deadperson,whyare we restrainedfrom presentingthe offeringof the LORDat its appointedtimeamongthe sonsof Israel?"
you shall say,'It is a Passoversacrificeto the LORDwhopassedoverthe housesof the sonsof Israelin Egyptwhen He smotethe Egyptians,but sparedour homes.'"And the peoplebowedlowand worshiped.
"Now, let the sonsof Israelobservethe Passoverat its appointedtime.
But there were [some] menwhowere uncleanbecause of [the] deadperson,so that they couldnot observePassoveron that day;so they camebeforeMosesand Aaronon that day.
Mosestherefore saidto them, "Wait,and I will listento whatthe LORDwill commandconcerning you."
"You shall sacrificethe Passoverto the LORDyour Godfrom the flockand the herd,in the placewherethe LORDchoosesto establishHis name.
