But ifhe struckhim downwith an ironobject,so that he died,he is a murderer;the murderershall surelybe putto death.
Moreover, you shall not takeransomfor the lifeof a murdererwhois guiltyof death,but he shall surelybe putto death.
"But ifhe does not listen[to you], takeoneortwomorewith you, sothat BY THE MOUTHOF TWOORTHREEWITNESSESEVERYFACTMAY BE CONFIRMED.
"Our Lawdoes not judgea manunlessit firsthearsfrom him and knowswhathe is doing,does it?"
