The sonsof Israelcapturedthe womenof Midianand their littleones;and alltheir cattleand alltheir flocksand alltheir goodsthey plundered.
and they capturedand lootedalltheir wealthand alltheir littleonesand their wives,even allthat [was] in the houses.
They alsostruckdownthose who ownedlivestock,and they carriedaway largenumbersof sheepand camels.Then they returnedto Jerusalem.
Wherefore, the LORDhis Goddeliveredhim into the handof the kingof Aram;and they defeatedhim and carriedaway from him a greatnumber of captivesand brought[them] to Damascus.And he was alsodeliveredinto the handof the kingof Israel,who inflictedhim with heavycasualties.
Then they burnedalltheir citieswherethey livedand alltheir campswith fire.
The menof warhad takenbooty,everymanfor himself.
They killedthe kingsof Midianalongwith the [rest of] their slain:Eviand Rekemand Zurand Hurand Reba,the fivekingsof Midian;they also killedBalaamthe sonof Beorwith the sword.
"Onlythe womenand the childrenand the animalsand allthat is in the city,allits spoil,you shall takeas bootyfor yourself; and you shall usethe spoilof your enemieswhichthe LORDyour Godhas givenyou.
