"But ifhe indeedannulsthem afterhe has heardthem, then he shall bearher guilt."
Now ifa personsinsafter he hearsa publicadjuration[to testify] when he is a witness,whetherhe has seenor[otherwise] known,ifhe does not tell[it], then he will bearhis guilt.
"But ifher husbandindeedannulsthem on the dayhe hears[them], then whateverproceedsout of her lipsconcerning her vowsor concerning the obligationof herselfshall not stand;her husbandhas annulledthem, and the LORDwill forgiveher.
"But ifher husbandindeedsaysnothingto her from dayto day,then he confirmsallher vowsorallher obligationswhichare on her; he has confirmedthem, becausehe saidnothingto her on the dayhe heardthem.
Theseare the statuteswhichthe LORDcommandedMoses,[as] betweena manand his wife,[and as] betweena fatherand his daughter,[while she is] in her youthin her father'shouse.
"But ifher fathershould forbidher on the dayhe hears[of it], noneof her vowsor her obligationsby whichshe has boundherselfshall stand;and the LORDwill forgiveher becauseher fatherhad forbiddenher.
"But ifon the dayher husbandhears[of it], he forbidsher, then he shall annulher vowwhichshe is underand the rashstatementof her lipsby whichshe has boundherself;and the LORDwill forgiveher.
