WhenJesushad finishedthesewords,the crowdswere amazedat His teaching;
and they were amazedat His teaching,for His messagewas with authority.
They were amazedat His teaching;for He was teachingthem as [one] havingauthority,and not as the scribes.
The officersanswered,"Neverhas a manspokenthe way thismanspeaks."
When the Sabbathcame,He beganto teachin the synagogue;and the manylistenerswere astonished,saying,"Wheredid this man [get] these things,and whatis [this] wisdomgivento Him, and suchmiraclesas theseperformedby His hands?
And allwere speaking wellof Him, and wonderingat the graciouswordswhich were fallingfrom His lips;and they were saying,"Is thisnot Joseph'sson?"
The Jewsthenwere astonished,saying,"Howhas this manbecome learned,having neverbeen educated?"
When the crowdsheard[this], they were astonishedat His teaching.
and they could not findanythingthat they might do,for allthe peoplewere hangingon to everyword He said.
The chief priestsand the scribesheard[this], and [began] seekinghowto destroyHim; for they were afraidof Him, for the wholecrowdwas astonishedat His teaching.
WhenJesushad finishedallthesewords,He saidto His disciples,
WhenJesushad finishedgiving instructionsto His twelvedisciples,He departedfrom thereto teachand preachin their cities.
You are fairerthanthe sonsof men;Graceis pouredupon Your lips;ThereforeGodhas blessedYou forever.
WhenJesushad finishedthesewords,He departedfrom Galileeand cameinto the regionof Judeabeyondthe Jordan;
"The rainfell,and the floodscame,and the windsblewand slammed againstthat house;and it fell--and greatwas its fall."
for He was teachingthem as [one] havingauthority,and not as their scribes.
And allwho heardHim were amazedat His understandingand His answers.
WhenHe had completedallHis discoursein the hearingof the people,He wentto Capernaum.
