"ShowMe the coin[used] for the poll-tax."And they broughtHim a denarius.
He said,"Yes."And when he cameinto the house,Jesusspoke to him first,saying,"Whatdo you think,Simon?From whomdo the kingsof the earthcollectcustomsorpoll-tax,from their sonsorfrom strangers?"
"But that slavewentout and foundoneof his fellow slaveswhoowedhim a hundreddenarii;and he seizedhim and [began] to choke[him], saying,'Pay backwhatyou owe.'
"When he had agreedwith the laborersfor a denariusfor the day,he sentthem into his vineyard.
But Jesusperceivedtheir malice,and said,"Whyare you testingMe, you hypocrites?
And He saidto them, "Whoselikenessand inscriptionis this?"
They brought[one]. And He saidto them, "Whoselikenessand inscriptionis this?"And they saidto Him, "Caesar's."
And I heard[something] likea voicein the centerof the fourliving creaturessaying,"A quartof wheatfor a denarius,and threequartsof barleyfor a denarius;and do not damagethe oiland the wine."
