"You will be hatedby allbecauseof My name,but it is the one who has enduredto the endwho will be saved.
"And the one on whom seed was sownon the goodsoil,thisis the man who hearsthe wordand understandsit; whoindeedbears fruitand brings forth,somea hundredfold,somesixty,and somethirty."
"And othersfellon the goodsoiland yieldeda crop,somea hundredfold,somesixty,and somethirty.
"For whoeverwishesto savehis lifewill loseit; but whoeverloseshis lifefor My sakewill findit.
And someonecameto Him and said,"Teacher,whatgood thingshall I dothat I may obtaineternallife?"
"Thenthe Kingwill sayto thoseon His right,'Come,you who are blessedof My Father,inheritthe kingdompreparedfor you from the foundationof the world.
"Thesewill go awayinto eternalpunishment,but the righteousinto eternallife."
"Blessedare you when[people] insultyou and persecuteyou, and falselysayall kindsof evilagainstyou becauseof Me.
"But seekfirstHis kingdomand His righteousness,and allthese thingswill be addedto you.
"Ifanyonecomesto Me, and does not hatehis own fatherand motherand wifeand childrenand brothersand sisters,yes,and evenhis ownlife,he cannotbe My disciple.
When they had broughttheir boatsto land,they lefteverythingand followedHim.
"Blessedare you whenmenhateyou, and ostracizeyou, and insultyou, and scornyour nameas evil,for the sakeof the Sonof Man.
"Ifyou were of the world,the worldwould loveits own;but becauseyou are not of the world,but I choseyou out of the world,becauseof thisthe worldhatesyou.
"Alreadyhe who reapsis receivingwagesand is gatheringfruitfor lifeeternal;sothat he who sowsand he who reapsmay rejoicetogether.
for I will showhim how muchhe mustsufferfor My name'ssake."
but justas it is written,"THINGS WHICHEYEHAS NOT SEENAND EARHAS NOT HEARD,AND [which] HAVE NOT ENTEREDTHE HEARTOF MAN,ALLTHAT GODHAS PREPAREDFOR THOSEWHO LOVEHIM."
Thereforefrom nowon we recognizeno oneaccordingto the flesh;eventhoughwe have knownChristaccordingto the flesh,yetnowwe know[Him] [in this way] no longer.
More thanthat, I countallthingsto be lossin viewof the surpassing valueof knowingChristJesusmy Lord,for whomI have suffered the lossof all things,and countthem but rubbishsothat I may gainChrist,
Ifyou are reviledfor the nameof Christ,you are blessed,becausethe Spiritof gloryand of Godrestson you.
For they wentout for the sakeof the Name,acceptingnothingfrom the Gentiles.
