"Keepwatching and prayingthat you may not comeinto temptation;the spiritis willing,but the fleshis weak."
But he denied[it], saying,"I neitherknownorunderstandwhatyou are talkingabout." And he wentout ontothe porch,and a roostercrowed.
But againhe deniedit. And aftera little whilethe bystanderswere againsayingto Peter,"Surelyyou are [one] of them, for you are a Galileantoo."
A littlelater,anothersawhim and said,"You are [one] of them too!"But Petersaid,"Man,I amnot!"
Thenthe slave-girlwho kept the doorsaidto Peter,"You are not also[one] of thisman'sdisciples,are you?" He said,"I amnot."
NowSimonPeterwas standingand warminghimself. Sothey saidto him, "You are not also[one] of His disciples,are you?" He denied[it], and said,"I amnot."
Brethren,evenifanyoneis caughtin anytrespass,you who are spiritual,restoresuch a onein a spiritof gentleness;[each one] lookingto yourself,sothat you toowill not be tempted.
