"But take heed;behold,I have toldyou everythingin advance.
You therefore,beloved,knowing this beforehand,be on your guardsothat you are not carried awayby the errorof unprincipled menand fallfrom your ownsteadfastness,
"NowI have toldyou beforeit happens,sothat whenit happens,you may believe.
And He said,"Seeto it that you are not misled;for manywill comein My name,saying,I am[He],' and, 'The timeis near.'Do not goafterthem.
And Jesusbeganto sayto them, "Seeto it that noonemisleadsyou.
"Be on guard,sothat your heartswill not be weighted downwith dissipationand drunkennessand the worriesof life,and that daywill not comeon you suddenlylikea trap;
"Take heed,keep on the alert;for you do not knowwhenthe [appointed] timewill come.
"But be on your guard;for they will deliveryou to [the] courts,and you will be floggedin [the] synagogues,and you will standbeforegovernorsand kingsfor My sake,as a testimonyto them.
"Bewareof the false prophets,whocometo you in sheep'sclothing,but inwardlyare ravenouswolves.
"Behold,I have told you in advance.
for false Christsand false prophetswill arise,and will showsignsand wonders,in orderto lead astray,ifpossible,the elect.
"But in thosedays,afterthat tribulation,THE SUNWILL BE DARKENEDAND THE MOONWILL NOT GIVEITS LIGHT,
