His disciples[began] questioningHim as to whatthisparablemeant.
"So let us know,let us presson to knowthe LORD.His goingforthis as certainas the dawn;And He will cometo us like the rain,Like the springrainwateringthe earth."
And the disciplescameand saidto Him, "Whydo You speakto them in parables?"
"Hearthenthe parableof the sower.
ThenHe leftthe crowdsand wentinto the house.And His disciplescameto Him and said,"Explainto us the parableof the taresof the field."
Petersaidto Him, "Explainthe parableto us."
As soonas He was alone,His followers,alongwith the twelve,[began] askingHim [about] the parables.
and He did not speakto them withouta parable;but He was explainingeverythingprivatelyto His owndisciples.
"No longerdo I callyou slaves,for the slavedoes not knowwhathis masteris doing;but I have calledyou friends,for all thingsthat I have heardfrom My FatherI have made knownto you.
