The newsabout Him spreadthroughoutallSyria;and they broughtto Him allwho were ill,those sufferingwith variousdiseasesand pains,demoniacs,epileptics,paralytics;and He healedthem.
When the Sabbathwas over,MaryMagdalene,and Marythe [mother] of James,and Salome,boughtspices,sothat they might comeand anointHim.
[Nowafter He had risenearlyon the firstday of the week,He firstappearedto MaryMagdalene,from whomHe had castout sevendemons.
And followingHim was a largecrowdof the people,and of womenwhowere mourningand lamentingHim.
And allHis acquaintancesand the womenwho accompaniedHim from Galileewere standingat a distance,seeingthese things.
Nowthe womenwhohad comewith Him out of Galileefollowed,and sawthe tomband howHis bodywas laid.
And Jesusaskedhim, "Whatis your name?"And he said,"Legion";for manydemonshad enteredhim.
Thereforethe soldiersdidthese things.But standingby the crossof Jesuswere His mother,and His mother'ssister,Marythe [wife] of Clopas,and MaryMagdalene.
Theseallwith one mindwere continually devoting themselvesto prayer,alongwith [the] women,and Marythe motherof Jesus,and with His brothers.
