Feargrippedthem all,and they [began] glorifyingGod,saying,"A greatprophethas arisenamongus!" and, "Godhas visitedHis people!"
Nowwhen the Phariseewho had invitedHim sawthis, he saidto himself,"Ifthis manwere a prophetHe would knowwhoand what sort of personthiswomanis whois touchingHim, that she is a sinner."
But when the crowdssaw[this], they were awestruck,and glorifiedGod,who had givensuchauthorityto men.
"Blessed[be] the LordGodof Israel,For He has visitedus and accomplishedredemptionfor His people,
It will be to Me a nameof joy,praiseand glorybefore allthe nationsof the earthwhichwill hearof allthe goodthat I dofor them, and they will fearand tremblebecauseof allthe goodand allthe peacethat I makefor it.'
They were allstruckwith astonishmentand [began] glorifyingGod;and they were filledwith fear,saying,"We have seenremarkable thingstoday."
The shepherdswent back,glorifyingand praisingGodfor allthat they had heardand seen,justas had been toldthem.
Fearcameon allthoseliving aroundthem; and allthesematterswere being talked aboutin allthe hill countryof Judea.
And the crowdswere saying,"Thisis the prophetJesus,from Nazarethin Galilee."
Sothe crowdmarveledas they sawthe mutespeaking,the crippledrestored,and the lamewalking,and the blindseeing;and they glorifiedthe Godof Israel.
You visitthe earthand cause it to overflow;You greatlyenrichit; The streamof Godis fullof water;You preparetheir grain,for thusYou preparethe earth.
So the peoplebelieved;and when they heardthat the LORDwas concernedabout the sonsof Israeland that He had seentheir affliction,then they bowedlowand worshiped.
And they were glorifyingGodbecauseof me.
And as he heardthesewords,Ananiasfell downand breathed his last;and greatfearcameoverallwho heardof it.
Sothey saidto the blind managain,"Whatdo you sayaboutHim, sinceHe openedyour eyes?"And he said,"He is a prophet."
Thereforewhen the peoplesawthe signwhichHe had performed,they said,"Thisis trulythe Prophetwho is to comeinto the world."
The womansaidto Him, "Sir,I perceivethat You are a prophet.
They askedhim, and saidto him, "Whythenare you baptizing,ifyou are not the Christ,norElijah,northe Prophet?"
They askedhim, "Whatthen?Are you Elijah?"And he said,"I amnot." "Are you the Prophet?"And he answered,"No."
And He saidto them, "What things?"And they saidto Him, "The things aboutJesusthe Nazarene,whowas a prophetmightyin deedand wordin the sightof Godand allthe people,
They answeredand said,"Johnthe Baptist,and others[say] Elijah;but others,that oneof the prophetsof oldhas risen again."
And allthe peopleof the countryof the Gerasenesand the surrounding districtaskedHim to leavethem, for they were grippedwith greatfear;and He gotinto a boatand returned.
But when SimonPetersaw[that], he fell downat Jesus'feet,saying,"Go awayfrom me Lord,for I ama sinfulman,O Lord!"
And they leftthe tombquicklywith fearand greatjoyand ranto reportit to His disciples.
"Thisis the Moseswho saidto the sonsof Israel,GODWILL RAISEUP FOR YOU A PROPHETLIKEME FROM YOUR BRETHREN.'
and they will level you to the groundand your childrenwithinyou, and they will not leavein you one stoneupon another,becauseyou did not recognizethe timeof your visitation."
"The LORDyour Godwill raiseup for you a prophetlikeme from amongyou, from your countrymen,you shall listento him.
The dead mansatup and beganto speak.And [Jesus] gavehim back to his mother.
